Why does the world constantly tell us

to chase after happiness?

​

세상은 왜

우리에게 행복을 끊임없이

추구하라고

할까요?

“A better life,

more possessions,

a higher position”—

it says that’s where happiness is found.

​

“더 나은 삶,

더 많은 소유,

더 높은 자리에서

행복을 찾으라.”

​

But the happiness found in such things

eventually fades,

leaving only emptiness behind.

Why?

그러나 그렇게 찾은 행복은 어느 순간,

다시 텅 빈 허무로

돌아옵니다.

Because happiness

comes from circumstances,

​

행복은

조건에서

오지만

​

but joy

comes from relationship.

​

기쁨은

관계에서

오기 때문입니다

Jesus still

encourages,

loves,

comforts,

walks with us,

shows mercy,

and has deep compassion

for us.

​

예수님은 지금도

격려하시고,

사랑하시고,

위로하시고,

교제하시고,

자비를 베푸시고,

긍휼히 여기시는

분이십니다.

When I quiet my own voice

and tune in to His,

a joy this world cannot give

flows into my heart.

내 목소리를 낮추고

그분의 음성에

주파수를 맞출 때

세상이 줄 수 없는

기쁨이 제 안에 흘러들어옵니다.

begins with a deep, intimate

relationship with Jesus.
